With more than thirty years of experience in both secular and Christian publishing, Chriscynethia Floyd joined Cook Media Global as chief curriculum officer in early 2026.
Throughout her distinguished career, Chriscynethia has held various executive roles, including vice president, publisher, and vice president of sales and marketing. Her professional journey includes significant contributions to organizations such as Our Daily Bread Ministries, Simon and Schuster Publishing, HarperCollins Publishers, HarperCollins Christian Publishers, and the Children’s Defense Fund.
In her current role, she leads and collaborates with a highly skilled team of editors, curriculum writers, and publishing professionals.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Michigan State University, a performance degree from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, and a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Outside of work, Chriscynethia is a classically trained singer who has performed for notable dignitaries, including Desmond Tutu and President George H.W. Bush. She has performed at iconic venues, from the Kennedy Center to major arenas, as her vocal talent has taken her around the globe.
Chriscynethia enjoys attending arts performances, sporting events and being outdoors with her English Springer Spaniel, Thelonious Monk—affectionately known as Theo.
