Darren Elrod joined Cook Media Global as president of Fair Trade Services when Cook acquired Fair in 2025.
With more than two decades of executive experience working with top Christian artists, Darren began his tenure with Fair Trade as chief operating officer in 2020 before being promoted to president of the independent record label in 2024.
Prior to Fair Trade, Darren served at Provident Label Group (now a division of Provident Entertainment under Sony Music Entertainment) for more than 20 years. He started in 1999 as senior vice president of finance and operations and advanced to executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Darren leads the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of Fair Trade Services. He also serves on the executive leadership team for Cook Media Global.
Darren earned his MBA in business/commerce from Middle Tennessee State University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He works out of the Fair Trade office in Brentwood, Tenn.
